OTZ METHODS- The Cervical-Thoracic Junction Adjusting  (C6-T4)

OTZ Methods breaks down all the aspects of this critical Cervical-Thoracic Junction. This area represents the most difficult area of the spine to adjust. Also it is the rate-limiting step of success in most care plans. The complexities of the area are numerous.  This area features a change in the contour or curve of the spine commonly referred to as a transitional area. It is also characterized by the confluence of many tissues, which make this area critical to fluid cervical and thoracic function. Becoming a master adjuster in the cervical-thoracic junction proves to be critical in achieving lasting, positive clinical change in health. Here in lies the reason we have named the cervical-thoracic junction “The Vault”.

  1. The Cervical-Thoracic Junction “Blowing the Vault”

  2. Three Strategies to adjust

  3. The Clavicle

    • The Acromio-clavicular Junction

    • The Sterno-clavicular Junction

  4. The Sternum

    • Anterior Sternal Adjusting

    • Manubrium

OTZ METHODS Transitional Adjusting  (Thoraco-Lumbar Junction, Sacroiliac) The transitional areas of the spine represent the most posture critical and difficult areas to adjust. When these areas malfunction the fluid spring like motion of the spine is compromised. All efforts to identify and correct spinal malfunction must address these critical segment. These areas are foundational to making positive clinical changes and long lasting results.
